By the time Nelson Mandela was inaugurated as President on the 10th of May 1994, the expectations of miraculous change were high. But he understood the goodwill that had come from the peaceful transition would not last. Mandela knew he couldn’t contain the degeneration of morals on his own, so he appealed to the religious communities for help.
