It’s a downside of retail therapy – not being able to find your receipt when wanting to return a product, and sales receipts cause needless clutter. They aren’t very friendly to the environment either. Now one South African start-up says the time for paper receipts may just be reaching the end of its roll. Pocketslip is a mobile app that enables stores to send digital till slips directly to an app on your phone. Entrepreneurs Francois Liebenberg and Ryno Coetzee are the duo behind the paperless platform.
