LOCOMUTE

Locomute co-founders, Ntando Kubheka and Tumisang Marope want to bring flexibility to the car rental industry with their car-sharing startup. They launched Locomute in June 2015. The co-founders met while completing their MBAs at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Business School. Locomute is a result of an assignment they had to complete to develop a disruptive business plan for a final year module in 2014. After receiving positive feedback from lecturers, fellow classmates and industry players, they then took a decision to formally take the business to market.
