Take a few deaf children, teach them how to play a musical instrument, pair them up with a highly talented marimba band, and put them all on stage with a 5-time Grammy award-winning acapela group. For these young musicians, it’s the opportunity of a lifetime. This is a story of courage, fearlessness and determination. South Africa’s Dominican School Deaf band, and Goede Hoop Marimba Band have been hard at work preparing for the biggest event of their musical careers … a chance to perform on stage with the internationally acclaimed Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
